1. About these terms

These terms apply when you buy from or book with Bellas Gelato through this website, WhatsApp or email. They are written in line with the Consumer Protection Act 68 of 2008 and the Electronic Communications and Transactions Act 25 of 2002. By placing an order you accept them.

2. Orders and pricing

• All prices are in South African Rand.
• An order is confirmed when you receive an order number and payment is received, or when we confirm a pay-on-collection order.
• Products are made in small batches. If a flavour is unavailable we will offer a swap or a refund for that item.

3. Payment

We accept card, Instant EFT and SnapScan online. Collection orders may be paid on pickup. Payments are processed by a secure third-party gateway.

4. Delivery and collection

• We deliver within the Gauteng zones shown at checkout, in the time window you choose.
• Someone must be available to receive frozen goods and place them in a freezer straight away.
• If no one is available, we will contact you. A re-delivery fee may apply.
• Collections are from 16 Haynes Street, Witpoortjie, at the time we confirm with you.

5. Frozen goods and quality

Gelato and sorbet are perishable. For your safety we cannot accept returns of frozen goods once delivered. If your order arrives soft, damaged or incorrect, send a photo to 076 094 0908 on WhatsApp within 2 hours of delivery and we will replace or refund the affected items.

6. Cancellations and refunds

• You may cancel a product order for a full refund up to 24 hours before your delivery window.
• Refunds are paid back to the original payment method within 7 working days.
• Because our products are perishable, the cooling-off right in section 44 of the ECT Act does not apply to delivered goods.

7. Event bookings

• A booking request holds your date for 48 hours. The date is secured once the quoted deposit is paid.
• The balance is due before the event date stated on your quote.
• Cancellation terms, travel, power requirements and final guest numbers are set out in your event quote.
• We need safe access, a level surface and, where possible, a power point near the cart.

8. Allergens

Our kitchen handles milk, eggs, nuts, soya and gluten. Allergen information on this site is a guide and recipes can change. Please contact us before ordering if you have a severe allergy.

9. Gift cards

Gift cards are valid for 12 months from purchase, may be used on orders and event bookings, and cannot be exchanged for cash.

10. Website use

All content on this site, including photos, text and the Bellas Gelato name and logo, belongs to Bellas Gelato and may not be copied without permission. We aim to keep information accurate but may correct errors in prices or descriptions.
